It just goes to show how important the driver is, we often see manufacturers lauding the hardware specs of these interfaces, but if the driver is bad, the experience is bad. It co-exists with windows really well, unlike the Tascam which constantly needed re-booting or re-routing. The 'safety buffer' built into the driver on this unit is nothing less than revelatory, I can run projects that hammer my cpu up to 80% at buffers of 32 at 96k and it still keeps going, it's brilliant. Suffice to say, after watching a youtube video on somebody testing the the buffer on the Komplete Audio 2 down to 16 on a low spec laptop with not one click or stutter was amazing. I purchased this to replace my Tascam 2x2, the Tascam is a pretty nice unit but the driver and routing setup is a disaster.
